The St. James Burnished Oxford — Allocation No. 303
The St. James Burnished Oxford — Allocation No. 303
Engineered for men of a certain provenance. Pieces that yield to no transient trends and require no occasion to wear.
Couldn't load pickup availability
An Oxford does not ask permission to enter a room. It has already arrived.
The St. James is cut from a single piece of premium full-grain cowhide — no structural seams, no joins, no concessions. The toe box is finished by hand, a gradient patina applied manually until the depth of colour reaches what no machine can replicate. Every pair is singular. That is not a selling point. It is simply the nature of the process.
—
The Construction
Wholecut upper from premium full-grain cowhide — a single continuous piece of leather, which demands both the finest hide and the most precise cutting. Hand-burnished toe box with a gradient darkening applied individually on each pair. High-density, low-profile outsole engineered for an unbroken silhouette from above. The shoe reads as one continuous line.
This is formal footwear without decoration. Authority without ornament.
—
Archival Care
Remove with a shoe horn — always. Clean with a dry, soft cloth before any product is applied. Nourish the patina with a minimal application of natural wax in a matching tone, worked in small circles, allowed to rest, then buffed to a subdued shine. Cedar last immediately after removal. The structure holds; the leather recovers.
A well-maintained Oxford does not wear out. It becomes irreplaceable.
—
Sizing
The wholecut construction demands precision. Take your exact formal shoe size — the leather is uncompromising at first wear, then internalises the shape of the foot without losing its discipline. If between sizes, take the smaller.

The Complete Configuration

Allocation No. 402 — The ND9 Classic. A masterclass in understated elegance. Engineered with advanced polarized optics and framed in a timeless vintage silhouette, they don't just reduce glare—they define your presence. Crafted exclusively for the discerning gentleman.
Solid purchase. I can wear them with a suit or dress them down with chinos. The leather softened up nicely after just a couple of wears.
Excellent quality for the price. The break-in period was practically zero, which is rare for new leather shoes. They hold their shape well and look sharp. Will probably order the brown ones soon.
I'm quite particular about the shape of my shoes, and the toe cap on these is perfectly balanced—neither too pointy nor too round. It looks like a much more expensive shoe. Great everyday wear.
Picked up the black pair for formal meetings. They are clean, minimal, and exactly what I was looking for. No unnecessary details, just a solid, well-made shoe that goes with any suit.
The brown finish has a really nice depth to it. It’s hard to find a well-proportioned shoe at this price point that doesn't look cheap. Very pleased with the quality, and the fit was spot on.
